This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic new company formed by local business people to bring more families, couples and mixed groups to Blackpool using a range of flexible cycle rental package deals. This coincides with the massive investment in the cycle infrastructure (paths, routes, adult hourly bike rental) by the local authorities.
We are not planning to compete directly with the council rental scheme but to offer something different and provide a more niche specialist range of rental products.
Accommodation providers, eating establishments, shops and attractions can all benefit from the potential money this rental scheme will bring in.
The public will not be able to book cycles and equipment directly with the company.
Guests of approved hotels registered with the scheme will be able to order the stuff on their behalf from us. You will then charge the guest accordingly. We will arrange delivery and collection from the hotel. At the end of each month we will invoice you for 90% of the total costs of guests rental in that period plus an agreed amount for any credit card charges incurred. So you get 10% of the rental money and may even generate more ‘heads on beds’ at the same time by attracting new business, more referrals and more repeat business because you can offer flexible family cycle rental packages.
1. You must be able to provide suitable overnight safe accommodation for the cycles and equipment.
2. Your accommodation must have suitable quality accreditation – Yes Hotels, The AA or Visit Britain are acceptable.
3. Registration costs £25 per annum but is free to all current members of Yes Hotels.
4. You will be able to use our logos on your site to link to ours and we will put you on a list of participating accommodation providers on our busy site as well.
Once registered as approved your accommodation will be added to this site under the ‘Registered Accommodation Providers’ link.
You will be able to link from your own site to here so you can tell potential guests that they can hire cycles directly from you.
